What is involved in a fitness assessment?
The first step to effective personal training is a thorough fitness assessment. During our first session, we will spend half of the time talking about YOU. We will go over your health history, specifically any injuries, surgeries or problem areas that you have had, as all of these play a role in how your body moves and functions. We will discuss your fitness goals (both short and long term), and how we can work together to achieve them. Additionally, we will talk about your current eating habits, after all...exercise is only half of the equation to healthy living. During the second half of this session, we will do several physical assessments to help determine your current fitness level, and any muscle weaknesses and/or imbalances you may have.Based on the information I gather during our first meeting, I will put together an exercise program designed specifically for YOU.
Where can we do personal training?
I currently offer personal training in my home/yard. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, personal training is also available outdoors at local parks.
What does personal training cost?
Perhaps the more important question is "how much will future medical bills cost to treat common problems that could have been addressed with exercise and healthy eating?
