Senior Fitness

What activities do you want to keep doing or get back to?

Regular exercise can improve how you move, how you feel when you move, and add quality years to your life.  

Staying physically active as a senior is incredibly important.  Doing resistance training helps to increase your muscle strength and also keeps your bones stronger.  The goal here isn't to bulk up, but instead to gain strength needed for activities of daily living as well as for the fun activities you enjoy doing.

While focused on reaching your individualized goals, there are several key areas our training will include: balance, flexibility/mobility, strength, and cardio.

Packages

Online Training Package

Online Training is 100% online.  You'll use an app to access your custom made workouts (with video demonstrations of each exercise) and communicate with your personal trainer.  This works best for someone who has exercised before, has a busy and/or unpredictable schedule, is self-motivated, and has access to either a gym or exercise equipment at home.

This package includes:

  • 1 month of online workouts, 2 delivered each week

  • regular check ins with your trainer to evaluate your progress and how well the workouts work for you

  • a phone consultation prior to starting your package

Hybrid Training Package

This package is a combination of online training and live personal training, either virtually or in person.  You'll use an app to access your custom online workouts weekly to do on your own, and also meet with your trainer weekly for a live training session.  You will need access to either a gym or exercise equipment at home to complete your online and virtual training.. 

 

This package is best for someone who may be newer to exercise, need a little more encouragement, has had injuries in the past that may require exercises to be modified on the spot, and enjoys the interaction, motivation, & immediate feedback that comes from live one on one training.

This package includes:

  • 1 month of training

    • 4 online workouts delivered weekly

    • 4 live sessions

  • regular check-ins with your trainer​

  • a phone consultation prior to starting your package

Live Training

This package is 100% one on one live training, either virtually or in person.  Your trainer will create custom workouts specific to your goals, and be able to modify exercises as needed, watch your form as you perform the exercises, and give you immediate feedback and encouragement. *Virtual clients will need a strong, reliable internet connection, a device with camera (iPad, computer, mobile phone) and access to exercise equipment (dumbbells, resistance bands, stability ball, etc.)

 

This package includes:

  • 1 month of in person and/or virtual training, 2x per week (8 sessions total)

  • regular access to the trainer

  • a phone consultation prior to starting your package
