Strength Training

Strength Training to keep you moving pain free and to make you as independent as possible.


We'll utilize a variety of equipment and body positions to help you get stronger.

Mobility/Flexibility/Core Strength

Stretching to increase flexibility and mobility as well as seated balance exercises to increase your core strength.

Exercise specifically for Parkinson's Disease

Exercise is especially beneficial for those with Parkinson's Disease (PD).  Exercise can slow down the disease progress, decrease the pain that is associated with PD, help you stay independent longer with improvements in gait, balance, and strength, and can even improve sleep, memory, and overall quality of life.

After suffering from a life changing neurological injury or being newly diagnosed with a neurological condition, knowing how to exercise safely can be a mystery.  The absolute first step is to consult with your medical team of doctors, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to make sure that you are cleared for exercise.  The next step is to decide where you feel comfortable exercising. A local gym?  At home?  Every neurological condition comes with its own challenges to overcome, however you are not your condition.  I will work with you as a person, not a condition, to help you reach your specific goals.
